Firefighters Spend Five Hours Putting Out Blaze In Limerick City

katedemolder

Three units of Limerick City and County Fire & Rescue Service spent five hours last night preventing flames from spreading through Roche’s Feeds on the Dock Road, one of Ireland’s largest manufacturer of animal feeds.

The blaze broke out shortly after midnight and the cause of it is currently believed to be a storage tank that malfunctioned.

The manufacturing plant is reportedly worth about €3,000,000.

The Fire & Rescue Service units were joined last night by one unit from Shannon Fire Service who rushed to the scene.

No injuries have been reported as of yet.
