FREE NOW offering €250,000 in free trips to support vaccine rollout

FREE NOW has announced that they will be offering €250,000 in trips across Ireland to support the rollout of the vaccine.

In an email to FREE NOW customers, the company said, “Some of the most vulnerable people in our society are next in line to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. As part of this rollout, we are offering our support to help those travelling to their appointment get there safely.

“We will be reimbursing all FREE NOW passengers up to €20 over two trips (max €10 per trip) when they book to travel to or from an official vaccination centre. You’re still required to wear a mask and take all necessary safety precautions to keep yourself and your driver as safe as possible.”

There are three steps involved for customers.  First, you should order and pay for your trip by card via the FREE NOW app. Then, set a destination ensuring your pick-up or drop-off is an official vaccination centre. Finally, submit a reimbursement request to our customer care team via their Help Centre by selecting ‘vaccination trip reimbursement’.

For this, you’ll need to keep the email receipts of your FREE NOW journey(s) and confirmation of your vaccination appointment. As long as you have those, simply submit within 14 days of getting your vaccine. You’ll receive a follow-up email and the reimbursement can take between five and ten days to come through.

If you’re not next on the vaccination list, you can still help others get this offer. If you have a family member or close loved one who needs help getting to their vaccination appointment, you can book on their behalf.
