This Irish Bookshop Is Hoping To Find Owner Of Mysterious Tag

A second-hand bookshop in New Ross, Co Wexford is looking to find the owner of their most recent find. 

They often find little notes or mementos inside their books, but this one is a lot more special than usual.

Staff in New Ross Books found a baby tag, from the hospital, inside a book in the store room. They believe it was used as a bookmark and was forgotten about.

The tag reads as “Baby O’Brien” who should now be a 40-year-old woman. She was born on March 24, 1977.

They have nothing else to go on, bar the little information that is on the tag, so they’re relying on the help of the internet. They are hoping to find Baby O’Brien herself, or even her family.

They want the post to be shared as much as possible, in the hopes of finding its owner.
