It's a bloody hot one out there today. So hot in fact that if you're aged 42 or under you will never have experienced a hotter day in this country.
Met Éireann has confirmed that the mercury rose to 32 degrees at Shannon Airport today making it the hottest temperature recorded in Ireland since 1976.

If you haven't taken the plunge and worn shorts to work this week, tomorrow might be the day to do it. Just tell your boss it's casual Friday.
