More Controversy Follows Paddy Jackson And Stuart Olding Following Latest Club Statement

Darragh Berry

Rumours have been floating around about Stuart Olding and Paddy Jackson all day regarding their next sporting step.

It was being reported that the pair were in talks with a new club in England, Premiership side Sale Sharks.

However, the English side have since released a statement which distances themselves from the signing of the two rugby players.

Although reports were suggesting that Jackson had already signed a contract and that Olding was to follow suit, Sale Sharks have said in a statement that they:

“can confirm there is no substance to the rumours currently circulating in relation to the signing of the two international rugby players Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding. Our search continues for top class players to bolster the squad for next season.”

This comes on the same day that both Olding and Jackson were to pay £20,000 costs as part of a settlement reached in their action against the BBC.

Both Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding were acquitted of sexual assault at a Belfast court.
