Late night train and Dart services will run for the festive season

The later services have been timed to align with the midnight closure of hospitality under new Covid restrictions.

Irish Rail have confirmed they will run late night Dart and Commuter services every weekend from Friday in the lead up to Christmas and the New Year.

The late night services will serve all stations on the Dart lines, as well as the Dundalk, Maynooth and Kildare Commuter lines. There will also be security personnel on board to ensure customers’ safety.

The timetable for Fridays and Saturdays 3rd & 4th, 10th & 11th, 17th & 18th December is as follows:

  • 00:30hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Howth
  • 00:30hrs from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
  • 00:40hrs from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
  • 00:20hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth
  • 00:50hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Drumcondra, and all stations from ParkWest to Kildare

And here’s timetable forFriday 31st December (after New Year’s Eve concerts):

  • 01:30hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Howth
  • 01:30hrs from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
  • 01:40hrs from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
  • 01:20hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth
  • 01:50 from Pearse serving all stations to Drumcondra, and all stations from ParkWest to Kildare

Customers have also been reminded they are required on board and in stations at all times, unless exempt. More information on current Covid measures is available HERE.
