Irish people are pretty protective of their home treats when they’re abroad.
From getting mammy to sneak over six packs of bacon in their suitcase to stocking up on more Barry’s tea bags then you would ever need, it’s fair to say we like a bit of familiar comforts.
One person has gone the extra mile to protect our land in this gas post – ‘Vancouver Tayto Independence’.
Tayto crips were sitting proudly for sale in a store in Vancouver, Canada, just doing their yum salty thang when someone realised that they were in fact placed on a UK shelf, complete with Union Jacks.
So what did they do? Well, they did what any proud Irish Tayto lover would do.
They removed the Union Jacks.
Good lads.
