Be careful out there folks.
Storm Brendan has arrived in force with a Status Orange Wind Warning in place for the entire country.
Motorists are being warned of a rogue trampoline which has landed on the M7 just before the UL exit into Limerick. Blown into the route of oncoming traffic by the storm.
Navigating the roads on a rainy day like today is difficult enough – throw in a misplaced trampoline and you’ve got a recipe for disaster.

Limerick Fire Service took to Twitter to inform the public that the issue was being dealt with:
“Crews currently dealing with several calls across the city & county incl. a dangerous sing on O’Connell Ave & a trampoline blocking the M7. Updates to follow”.
AA Roadwatch has confirmed that the trampoline has since been removed.

In the words of Teresa Mannion: “don’t make unnecessary journeys, don’t take risks on treacherous roads, and don’t swim in the sea”.
