Snow Could Be On The Way As Temperatures Plummet Next Week

After a washout weekend, weather chiefs have predicted snow in certain places next week.

Now, before you run out to deplete the nation’s shops of their bread, it won’t be as bad as the Beast from the East.

Forecasters have warned that the unsettled weather with continue for another seven days in the wake of Storm Diana.

Heavy rain showers are expected across the country tomorrow and Sunday – so heavy that you probably would be better off inside.

By Monday, temperatures will have dropped with highs of only 5° to 9°in the daytime and lows of -2° on Monday night.

Rain is expected across southern counties on Monday but they will clear as temperatures drop.

Wintry snowfalls are predicted on higher ground on Tuesday.

Today is the last day of meteorological Autumn, which will mean a drop in temperatures and a higher chance of snow.

Fingers and toes crossed for a white Christmas!
