After the drama of Storm Diana earlier in the week it looks like there will be no let up in the bad weather this weekend.
Met Éireann is forecasting a rough ride for us all as we welcome the month of December. Sadly, the common denominator appears to be rain, rain and more rain.
According to the experts, Friday will see ‘heavy showers which will become widespread overnight.’ Saturday, meanwhile further spells of rain, again becoming heavier once the sun goes down so take note if you’re planning on getting the Christmas party season underway.
Finally, Sunday sounds like an ideal day to curl up on the sofa with outbreaks of showery rain taking hold throughout the day.
It’s not all bad though as there will be the odd sunny spell with temperatures potentially reaching 13 degrees on Sunday.
That heatwave certainly feels like a long time ago now.
