Storm Callum is unlikely to hit Ireland according to the National Forecaster.
The weather system will bring heavy rains, but is not on track to develop into a storm.
According to the Irish Times, Met Éireann is still monitoring the weather system. “There will be heavy rains in parts of Leinster and Munster on Saturday and overnight rains.”
Earlier this week it was thought Storm Callum could be a particularly nasty storm following on the heels of Storm Ali which brought heavy gales and power outages to the country.
Two people died during the storm; a Swiss tourist in her 50s died when her caravan was blown off a cliff in Galway and a man in his 20s was killed by a falling tree in Armagh.
