PICS: Storm Debby Is Coming And Looks Ready To Batter Ireland

Darragh Berry

It looks like we’re further away from a heatwave than we’ve ever been as it looks like Storm Debby is en route to try its best to tear the country to bits.

Carlow Weather has said that Ireland could be severely hit by the tail-end of Storm Debby over the weekend.

Carlow weatherman Alan O’Reilly states that the Storm is on track for Ireland bringing with it some serious downpours of rain.

O’ Reilly said that:

“This #Debbie won’t be heading to Texas, she will dissipate over the coming days but the remains of the storm will track towards Ireland Saturday and could potentially bring some much needed rain.”

Storm Debby has since strengthened in the atlantic since these tweets and has clocked up wind speeds of 105 mph with fears that it might grow into a major hurricane on Wednesday night.

This follows on from an earlier warning that Ireland’s weather was set to plummet with a massive drop of temperatures on the way.
