The Irish Location Of Tuesday’s Euromillions Winning Jackpot In The Plus Draw Has Been Revealed

Darragh Berry

We waited patiently as the National Lottery revealed the Irish winners of the big €38.9m draw in the Euromillions from December and just a couple of days after the news broke, another Irish punter has won big in the lottery.

Someone whose ticket was sold in the south east of the country managed to scoop €500,000 in Tuesday night’s Euromillions Plus draw.

The winning Quick Pick multi-play ticket was sold on Tuesday at the Eurospar in Market Square, Bunclody, Co Wexford. The National Lottery is now encouraging all EuroMillions players in Bunclody and in Wexford to check their tickets to see if they are the lucky winner.

Speaking on selling the golden ticket, the Eurospar store owner Pat Rooney, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled. It’s very exciting news as it’s the first time we’ve sold a major Lotto or EuroMillions winning ticket. We’ve been spreading the word to our regulars to check their tickets so there’s a great buzz about Bunclody today. I have no idea who it is but I hope it’s one of our local customers.”

The numbers in the Plus draw were 1, 20, 22, 27 and 50.

So, if you did the Euromillions for Tuesday night with the plus included AND if your ticket was bought in the south east of Ireland, get checking your ticket for the love and honour of jaysus.

Meanwhile, there was no winner of the main Euromillions jackpot of €37.9 million.

The numbers drawn for that were 6, 12, 15, 38, 49 and the lucky stars were 2 and 9.

While there was no main winner in the big draw, over 20,000 Irish people managed to collect a prize in some shape or form with the biggest person scooping over €3k after matching four numbers and two stars.

May the luck of the Irish continue in the Euromillions and will ye go check your tickets and stop waiting around.
