New Census figures released today have revealed the towns in Ireland where residents reported the best and worst health.
Taking into account towns with a population of over 10,000, Malahide in Dublin came out on top with 92.5% of its residents reporting good health. This was followed by Carrigaline in Cork with 92.4% and Maynooth in Kildare with 91.8%.
The worst bills of health were reported in Longford (2.9%), Tullamore (2.5%) and Wexford (2.5%).

Other results showed that the healthiest administrative county in Ireland is Dún Laoighaire/Rathdown with 89.9% of residents reporting good or very good health followed by Meath with 89.6%.
