Well known Irish actor Aiden Gillen, who played Lord Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish on GoT, has apparently been cast in a seriously slick role.
Deadline reports that Gillen will play the role of none other than James Joyce in new indie movie ‘James and Lucia’.
Written and to be directed by Robert Mullan, the film focuses on the famous Irish writer’s life as he writes Finnegans Wake and his daughter Lucia’s mental health deteriorates.
Lucia was a professional dancer who was diagnosed as schizophrenic in the mid-1930s and had a failed romance with renowned playwright Samuel Beckett.
Shooting is tipped to begin in early 2018 in Dublin and Luxembourg, and we’re pretty sure that if Aiden Gillen is happy to put his name to it, it’s gonna be a quality movie.
