Looks like someone had a pretty feckin’ fantastic Paddy’s Day this year and went and won a hefty half a million euro in the EuroMillions €17 million jackpot draw.
It’s now been revealed by the National Lottery that the winning ticket was sold in O’Reilly Stores in Moffat Street in Hacketstown in Co. Carlow on the day of the draw.
We’ve also discovered that O’Reilly Stores has a pretty sweet winning streak when it comes to selling winning tickets: A raffle ticket of €100,000 was sold here in 2015.
Last year’s insane €66 MILLION EuroMillions ticket was also sold in Carlow, at the Fairgreen Shopping Centre.
Yep – we’re doing all our Lotto in this town from now.
