The C-word is fresh on our lips (ahem, that’s Christmas you animal), and it’s just not a festive celebration without a snipe or three of Prosecco.
While we really, really don’t need an excuse to pop open a bottle of bubbly, the fact that Spar’s own-brand Prosecco has just been named as a Best Buy in the Which? festive fizz tastings.
Spar Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOCG was awarded 78% by an expert panel, and impressed the guzzlers with its ‘pleasant balance’ and flavours of pear and white peach.
But the best news of all is that it’s only going to cost you about €13
Who knew that running into your local shop on the corner would yield such delish boozy bubbles?
