If you’ve ever been convinced that you’re the worst driver in the family, then you might be with reason to believe so.
According to a new study, the eldest in the family is the worst driver.
The Daily Mail reports that the study, conducted by Privilege Car Insurance, showed that the eldest sibling is more likely to speed, to text while driving and to have accidents.
The study involved 1,395 motorists – of which 89% of the eldest drivers speed and 35% of them had been fined.
Eldest siblings were also involved in more minor and major accidents, and their rates of using their mobile phone and doing their makeup while driving were all higher than their younger siblings.
And if you’re wondering who the best driver is?
The youngest.
Only 36% of young siblings hog lanes on the road, compared to 46% of the elder siblings.
Does this sound like your family?
