Uh Oh – ‘Dad Dancing’ Begins A Lot Sooner For Men Than You Might Think

Sarah

It’s 1am, you’re in the club and you’re bopping away to your fave Beyonce tune (don’t lie lads, we know you love her) – but are you dancing, or are you dad dancing?

Known to all as a seriously embarrassing phenomenon, you might think dad dancing is reserved for men over 60, but you’d be wrong.

A recent survey by Twirlywoos found that 37 is the age when men no longer just dance – they ‘dad dance’.

Apparently age 13 is when we no longer find our dad’s dancing sweet, and begin to think it’s majorly embarrassing instead.

As for the tunes that dad’s love dancing to the most? If you’re on the verge of 37 you might want to steer clear of these…

1. Stayin’ Alive – Bee Gees

2. You Sexy Thing – Hot Chocolate

3. Waterloo – ABBA

4. Lady in Red – Chris de Burgh

5. Let’s Dance – David Bowie

6. Don’t Stop Me Now – Queen

7. My Way – Frank Sinatra

8. Summer of ’69 – Bryan Adams

9. Bon Jovi – Livin’ on a Prayer

10. Dancing In The Street – David Bowie & Mick Jagger
