A young woman, who became an internet sensation after appearing as an audience member on the Late Late Show last year, has been charged in relation to the discovery of “cocaine factory” in Cork.
Molly Kate Sloyan went viral on the back of her hilarious reaction to a Daniel O’ Donnell impression in the 2016 Valentines Special.
Her excitement quickly turned to disdain when she realised that O’ Donnell would not actually be appearing, and that the segment was actually a Mario Rosenstock skit.
Now, Molly Kate is one of four charged in court in relation to a cocaine operation in Kinsale and Bantry.
According to The Irish Sun, it was alleged in court that Molly Kate, who has an address in Benidorm, Spain, organised flights to Ireland organised rental houses in Cork, one of which was the site of a cocaine extraction laboratory.
D/Garda Shannon Ryan told Judge Mary Dorgan: “She organised flights and transport for herself and her co-accused to come to Ireland. She organised a house in Kinsale and a house in Bantry. She set up the extraction factory in Bantry and she ordered in Isopropanol.”
Bail was refused and Molly was remanded in custody, according to the publication.
