This wondrous day, that for some reason is not as well known as it should be, occurs on the first Saturday of May each year. 

The website for the day sings its praises, saying:

Gardening naked is not only a simple joy, it reminds us — even if only for those few sunkissed minutes — that we can be honest with who we are as humans and as part of this planet

The day does what it says on the tin: it is a day for gardening and all gardening-like activities, naked. Such a delightful mental image.
