Alana Laverty

Happy Easter, friends!

We hope you haven’t descended too far into a chocolate coma just yet.

And if you haven’t — then you should really get out there today and make the most of Easter Sunday with your fam and the gang.

Here’s today’s weather forecast:

It’ll be mostly cloudy this morning with outbreaks of rain in many places but will improve during the afternoon and evening, becoming somewhat bright as the rain turns more showery.

Rain will become mostly confined to northern and northeastern areas, according to Met Éireann

Parts of south Munster will remain dry throughout. Afternoon temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees Celsius, up to 15 degrees Celsius in brighter areas of the south in moderate northwesterly breezes.

It will remain cool tonight with some showers mainly in parts of Ulster and most other areas will become dry. Mist developing in places with some patchy fog. Overnight lows of 4 to 7 degrees Celsius in light northwest breezes.
