Hold on to your hats, folks. This just got real.
After news broke this morning that Storm Hannah was on her way, Met Éireann has now issued wind warnings for 20 counties. The time to be on your guard would appear to Friday evening and night, with an orange wind warning in place for Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick from 4pm on Friday until 5am on Saturday.
Meanwhile, a status yellow wind warning is in place for the whole of Connacht as well as Kilkenny, Carlow, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Wexford, Wicklow, Offaly, Donegal, Tipperary and Waterford. This one is valid from 11pm on Friday until 9am on Saturday.
