Woman In Critical Condition After Stabbing Early This Morning

The assault occurred in Limerick this morning


A woman was rushed to hospital early this morning after she was stabbed multiple times at a house in Co. Limerick. 

The incident occurred at Hassett's Villas, Old Thomondgate, Limerick at around 12:40AM, according to Independent.ie

The woman, in her late thirties, was found by Gardaí with multiple stab wounds when officers were called to the scene after a report of disturbance. 

The woman was rushed to University Hospital Limerick and Gardaí say that she is in a critical but stable condition.

A man was arrested at the scene but Gardaí are appealing for anyone with any information to contact Mayorstone Garda Station on 061 456980 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111.
