This Irish Brand Is Saying Yes To Sustainability With Stylish Sunglasses And Watches

Sustainability. We hear the word all the time, but do we really know what it means?

In essence, sustainability is about working with nature and the environment rather than against it. Some may fear it is just a passing trend, but I personally think it’s here to stay and it’s great to see people jumping aboard and making changes however they can.

One Irish brand getting involved in the movement in a BIG way is Crann. The Irish word for ‘tree’, Crann’s whole business model revolves around safeguarding planet Earth.

Founded back in 2018 by Meath man Eoin McGuinness, the business has been bringing eco-friendly products to the public ever since. His ethos? To honour Irish culture and tradition while prioritising the use of materials that would otherwise go to landfill or end up in Irish waters.

If you’re in the market for some new accessories, then look no further. Products include sunglasses and watches made using recycled plastic, bamboo, oak and mixed woods. They’re quite stylish if I do say so myself.

And in the interest of sustainability and protecting its namesake, Crann even donates a percentage of every sale to The Native Woodland, an organisation that helps to rebuild damaged ecosystems.

A 100% Irish owned business that sources ethical manufacturers the whole way down the supply chain. Fair play.
