Both Aer Lingus and Ryanair have issued statements about potential flight cancellations this weekend.
The disruption is largely due to French air traffic control strikes on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 of July. Additionally, Ryanair have stated that ‘thunderstorms have caused delays in Northern Italy and Portugal.’
Customers are advised to check the status of their flight before departing for the airport.

According to RTÉ, Ryanair is being forced to cancel up to 100 flights across Europe.
