No summer holliers booked just yet? Fret not, fellow last-minute sun seeker.

Trying to decide where you should jet off to for the summer requires some serious thinking. Will the food be good? Are there many Insta opportunities? Will you return from the holiday absolutely broke and living off noodles for the next six months?

June is a good time to head off as it's not yet peak holiday season (most of the Mediterranean countries take their hols in August) and it's close enough that you can start getting excited like, now.

Here's 10 places in Europe that are ideal for a little June jaunt...

1. Croatia

White sandy beaches, fresh seafood and the opportunity to go island hopping? Yes please.

Average flight price from Dublin: €175

Average temperature in June: 22 degrees

2. Amalfi Coast

June is just getting in ahead of the big tourist groups that flock to this romantic region. Ravello has cliff top views of the azure sea and you'll never want to leave the village of Positano.

Average flight price from Dublin: €95 (to Naples)

Average temperature in June: 28 degrees

3. Lisbon

This hilly, coastal Portuguese city is a pastel-coloured Instagram dream. Gobble down fresh sardines and visit a nearby beach resort for the ultimate mix of city and sand.

Average flight price from Dublin: €109

Average temperature in June: 21 degrees

4. Devon

Yep, seriously, the UK has some gorge beaches and Devon gets ALL the sunshine in the summer. Stunning cliff walks, craic in the local pubs and a short flight make this a winner for a weekend.

Average flight price from Dublin: €51 (to Exeter)

Average temperature in June: 19 degrees

5. St Petersberg

There's canal cruises, festivals and the famous White Nights celebrations happening in St. Petersberg during June, so it's a prime month to visit.

Average flight price from Dublin: €225

Average temperature in June: 23 degrees

6. Mallorca

Cheap food and drink and constant sun, what more could you want? Mallorca has great hikes, pretty seaside villages even underground caves to explore. Rent a car and drive around the island to see way more than you remember from holidays as a kid.

Average flight price from Dublin: €115

Average temperature in June: 27 degrees

7. Vienna

Take a boat trip down the Danube, get dressed in your glad rags and go to the opera and basically just live your best life drinking Austrian beer in of Vienna's pretty squares.

Average flight price from Dublin: €110

Average temperature in June: 22 degrees

8. Mykonos

Is your holiday goal to do nothing but sun yourself on a glorious beach and eat amazing food? Step right this way to Mykonos then, one of the most popular Greek islands.

Relaxation by day and massive dance clubs by night = paradise.

Average flight price from Dublin: €253

Average temperature in June: 23 degrees

9. Provence

Stroll through lavender fields, drink as much rose wine as you can and go kayaking through dramatic gorges. The south of France is a guaranteed beautiful spot.

We recommend the sleepy village of Pertuis, which is based near everything and has divine places to eat.

Average flight price from Dublin: €125 (to Marseille)

Average temperature in June: 22 degrees

10. Slovenia

Lake Bled doesn't even look real, it's that scenic. You can be as active or as lazy as you want here. Row out to Bled Island to see that famous church or take a half-day trip to crashing waterfalls.

Average flight price from Dublin: €215

Average temperature in June: 22 degrees

Sure you'll be needing to take extra days of annual leave with all these suggestions...
