If you’re planning a stag or a hen and are stuck for destination ideas, Ryanair might just have the answer.
The airline has today announced a new route from Knock Airport to Cologne, a city which is becoming increasingly popular for those pre-wedding getaways.
With over 1 million inhabitants, Cologne is Germany’s fourth most populous city and there’s no shortage of great places to sample some of the finest beer in Europe. Who needs Oktoberfest?

While Ryanair already operates flights from Dublin to Cologne, this announcement is great news for those in the west. The service will start in June 2019 and will operate twice weekly.
On the other side of the coin, the airport is expecting to attract over 5,000 new German tourists in 2019 which is great news for the region.
