Banna Strand in Tralee has been named Ireland’s Best Beach in a new list from TripAdvisor.
The Kerry beach took the top spot from Cork’s Inchydoney Beach, which had held the top spot for the last three years.
Derrynane and Inch Beach in County Kerry also made the top five, alongside Strandhill in Co Sligo.
Other Irish landmarks to receive the mark of approval include Coumeenoole in Kerry, Barleycove in Cork, Curracloe in Wexford, Narin Beach in Donegal and Dog’s Bay in Connemara.
