The stunning Mount Wolseley Hotel in County Carlow has gone on sale and it's a pretty impressive buy.

The property, which is located within an hour of Dublin, has 143 bedrooms, conference and banqueting facilities, several restaurants, a spa with 14 treatment rooms, health club, gym and 20m leisure pool.

According to The Irish Times, there are also 16 standalone lodges on the site and an 18-hole Christy O’Connor Jnr golf course.

CBRE is handling the sale of the hotel, which it says is "highly profitable".
