Laughs and tears expected on the Late Late Show as line-up confirmed

Darragh Murphy

Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy

The guests on this week’s Late Late Show have a tough act to follow.

Last week’s Late Late Toy Show was one of the best in recent memory, with an abundance of heartwarming moments getting the festive period started in style.

We had Katie Taylor surprising young Ella, we had Alex coming back from Australia to surprise her brother Lee and we had the lovely Sophie talking about her sick brother Cian. That’s not to mention the courageous words of Sophia, who used her platform to hit back at her bullies.

Well RTE are not resting on their laurels this week as they have confirmed a great line-up for Friday’s show.

Host Ryan Tubridy will not only unveil even more contestants for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars but he will interview an eclectic variety of guests.

Dublin star Michael Darragh MacAuley will doubtless be drawn into discussing the impact of Jim Gavin after the legendary manager shocked the GAA world by stepping down from his role with Dublin football earlier this week.

Impersonator Oliver Callan will be in studio to provide a satirical look back at the recent goings-on in the world of politics and sport.

Also joining Tubridy on Friday’s show will be comedian Des Bishop, who will be discussing new show Mia Mamma.

In what is sure to be a heart wrenching interview, the family of Mia O’Neill will also bravely discuss the tragic loss of the teenager three months ago. Mia took her own life on September 6 and her parents are eager to tell her story to the nation.
