WATCH: President Higgins Has Sent A Lovely St. Patrick’s Day Message To Irish People Around The World

Through a combination of factors such as financial hardship and the Irish sense of adventure, many of us have close family and friends residing in all corners of the world. 

On the eve of St. Patrick’s Day 2018, President Michael D. Higgins has reached out to those who left left these shores in recent times as well as the descendants of those who made their journeys in generations gone by. 

The President has asked us to keep bonds strong with those abroad and to make efforts to mend ties which may have been severed over the years.
