While it won't hit directly, Storm Atiyah is expected to affect most of Ireland.
On Friday morning, Met Eireann issued an
orange wind warning for eight counties while a yellow warning was issued for several other areas of the country.
The national forecaster has since updated its
warnings, with an orange wind warning now in place for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick from Sunday afternoon at 1pm until Monday at 6am.
A status yellow wind warning is now in place for all of Ireland and is valid from 7pm on Saturday evening until Sunday at 1pm.

The status yellow wind warning will remain in place until 6am on Monday morning in all of Leinster as well as in Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon, Tipperary and Waterford.
A status yellow rainfall warning is also in place for Donegal for a 24-hour period between 6pm on Saturday evening to 6pm on Sunday evening.
A Met Eireann spokesperson said: "Storm Atiyah will track between Iceland and Ireland on Sunday, generating very strong winds across the country. Southwesterly winds, later veering northwesterly, will reach mean speeds between 65 and 80 km/h with gusts between 110 and 130km/h, possibly higher in exposed coastal areas.
"Due to a combination of high seas and storm surge there is a possibility of coastal flooding."
