Catalyst Coffee

Exciting news for coffee lovers in Bray, especially for regulars at Catalyst Coffee along the seafront who have just revealed plans to expand their little pop-up.

Getting yourself up and at ’em in the morning is a big ask. I used to be one of those people who set just the one alarm and hopped up out of bed at the first ring – don’t ask me how because I’ve since lost that skill. Now I set seven million different alarms, each about 10 minutes apart and snooze them all until I’ve woken everyone else in the house up too. Probs not the best idea…

When I do finally swing my legs out of bed and commit to getting up, one thing that helps lighten the load is knowing that my first cup of coffee is only moments away. There’s something about that first sip that’s like rocket fuel and whether it’s a placebo or not, it generally helps me feel bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and ready to take on the day.

During the week I tend to make my morning cuppa at home but during the weekend I like to venture out and treat myself to one from the professionals – always Catalyst when in Bray, who have some exciting news for coffee lovers.

Revealing all – well not all actually, some finer details still to come – the team took to Instagram, writing:

‘Where it all began, and where it’s going to continue. We are absolutely over the moon to announce that our small little pop up on bray beach will expand into something bigger.

Over the next few weeks we will keep you guys updated to when the doors will open. We will be expanding inside the magical doors of Ocean and transforming it into the Catalyst Cafe. Stay tuned!!’

Excellent news of a dreary Wednesday morning. The more good coffee there is out there the happier I am.
