One of Dublin's best and most affordable pizza spots has launched in Cork

Cork locals, you’re going to want a pizza this.

Another one of Dublin’s best restaurants has just opened a location in Cork – none other than Sano Pizza.

Just last week we reported that Griolladh, an absolutely class toastie spot with several spots in the capital, were planning to open their first restaurant outside of Dublin somewhere in the Rebel County, and earlier in the year, Marina Market said a warm welcome to The Saucy Cow, a vegan fast food outlet.

Sano has two Dublin locations, one in Temple Bar, and one in Ranelagh, and they even have a pizza restaurant in Glasgow, opening in May 2022. They quickly rose to glory on the Dublin pizza scene for being affordable and no-fuss, while still serving up delicious, authentic Neapolitan pizza. Their handmade dough is carefully proven for 48 hours before being baked at a high heat, and they boast uncomplicated toppings that don’t dip on quality.

We named it as one of Dublin’s very best pizza spots on our sister website in our round-up of the city’s best pies, so we’re delighted for Corkonians that they get a pizza of this (couldn’t help myself).

Sano opened their doors on Parnell Place on October 1st – if you’ve been struggling to find a new eatery to check out, you won’t be disappointed by this one.
