He’ll be joined by some very impressive guests.

From the moment he took out the “A Hug For You” card, the entire country (and the pretty much the entire world) promptly had their hearts filled by the joyful presence that was Adam King.

The space obsessed six-year-old and his family were inundated with outpourings of love and support from the general public, including famous astronaut Chris Hadfield, not to mention NASA themselves!

He’ll be returning to the show this week, chatting to Ryan Tubridy about the reaction since the Late Late Toy Show aired, and Chris Hadfield will also be on the show to chat to Adam all about space! We’re already welling up…

But the impressive line-up doesn’t end there, as Tubridy will also be joined by President Michael D Higgins, as well as U2 bassist Adam Clayton, as part of a tribute of the talents of Sharon Shannon.

Having done the rounds on The Graham Norton Show last week, Gary Barlow will be performing his new single on the Late Late Show this week, which also marks a return for the former Take That member, as he also popped up during last week’s Late Late Toy Show.

And last but not least, GAA President John Horan and sports broadcaster Damien Lawlor will be on the show to discuss the a year in sport quite unlike any other.

The Late Late Show airs on RTE One at 9.35pm this Friday.
