Jedward have posted a message to anyone who has remained in Ireland instead of going abroad this summer.
In a tweet posted on Monday, Ireland’s most famous pop twins addressed people who haven’t made a break for the sunnier climes of Europe’s favourite holiday resorts this summer, referring to them as ‘heroes’. They added a not-so-thinly veiled dig at others who have decided to fly abroad as Ireland continues its battle against Covid-19.
The post reads: ‘To everyone staying home and not flexing on a beach in Ibiza! You are the heroes saving lives and not trying to be a so-called social influencer.’

The Jedwards have spoken. Travel to most countries requires people to isolate for two weeks upon their return to Ireland. However, the Government’s ‘green list’ includes places where that course of action is not necessary. You can check which countries are currently on the list here.
We say ‘currently’ because the list is ever-changing and is, in fact, expected to be altered on Tuesday night so be sure to check for updates. Or just get on to Jedward, they seem to know what the craic is.
