The rumours of Liam and Noel Gallagher making up aren’t going away any time soon especially since the former is so intent on stirring things up on Twitter.
The younger brother hit the headlines yesterday when he claimed that older brother Noel Gallagher turned down a cool £100 million to get Oasis back together.
It’s not the first time that Liam has teased his Twitter followers with the possibility of the band reforming and it probably won’t be the last. However, it seems Noel Gallagher has taken issue with this particular accusation and responded to his younger sibling’s claims last night.
Addressing ‘whoever might be arsed’, the High Flying Birds frontman posted: ‘I am not aware of any offer from anybody for any amount of money to reform the legendary Mancunian Rock’n’Roll group Oasis. I am fully aware though that someone has a single to promote so that’s maybe where the confusion lies.’
To whoever might be arsed:

Not exactly the fistfights and headbutts the fiery pair were known for in their heyday but still, that was a bit of a zinger. To be fair, he’s not wrong with Liam released his video for Once last week, which features a certain Frenchman by the name of Eric Cantona.
It seems the rumours of Liam and Noel Gallagher putting their differences to one side are going to run and run. It’s probably best not to believe anything you read until the pair are on stage at Slane Castle in front of 90,000 people. We can dream.
