The Tommy Tiernan Show has been one of RTE’s biggest success stories of recent years with viewers flocking to watch the comedian interview high-profile guests in his irreverent, off-the-cuff style.
The format of the show means that Tommy Tiernan doesn’t know who his guests are until they walk into the studio and it has made for some great interviews with a host of Irish and international names. Some of the guests Tommy has quizzed include the President himself Michael D. Higgins, Irish football legend Paul McGrath, screenwriter Sharon Horgan and Adam Clayton of U2.
If you happened to miss any of it since the series launched in 2017, you can make up for lost time with a new book that Tiernan has announced this week. Winging It will feature some of the best interviews from The Tommy Tiernan Show and will even include material that did not make it to screens. It sounds like a great way to get to know some of Ireland’s brightest and most talented stars and it’s available for pre-order now.

It definitely has the makings for a great stocking filler this Christmas and it could be a fine companion for Tommy’s new podcast which he is doing with his old pal Hector Ó hEochagáin. You can ensure you get your copy of Winging It by following this link.
