It's been over a year since the release of the second season of Netflix sci-fi show Stranger Things and anticipation is already building for the next instalment.

A new teaser trailer released this morning tells us that the events of the third series will be based in the summer of 1985, which those who are old enough will remember as the period in which timeless 80s movies such as Back To The Future and The Goonies were released.

While it has to be said there's not much happening in the new clip, it does fill us in on the episode titles which may give us an indication of where the plot is going. The Case Of The Missing Lifeguard sounds particularly ominous as we catch up with the Hawkins crew.

Unfortunately fans will have to wait until 2019 to find out what will become of Eleven, Mike et al but if the first two series are anything to go by, it will be worth the wait.
