Talk about fairytale core, am I right?
Just a week after noticing a former Donegal Garda station was up for auction on Daft, another has come to our attention, only this time it’s up for sale in Longford.
I don’t know about you but it’s giving big where Sleeping Beauty was stowed away from Maleficent vibes, with three fairies surely ready to be at your constant beck and call.
According to the Daft advertisement, this is a retail unit that is 88 m², and will go for sale by online auction November 9th at 11am. The bidding will begin at €125,000 – considerably higher than the Donegal station.
The station is based in Ardagh village, and is within walking distance of the national school, the shop, the post office, the church and GAA grounds.
The property is considered to have great scope to be converted into residential accommodation or a variety of commercial uses, and features a main office with a vaulted wood panelled ceiling that would make an ideal reception room.
See the listing on www.sherryfitz.ie/branch/longford to register to bid. Those looking to register should note that the property is a protected structure and the sale is exempt from stamp duty.
