Beautiful new tribute to Sinéad O’Connor appears at Bray head

Katy Thornton

Rest in power.

A stunning tribute for the late Sinéad O’Connor has appeared at Bray Head ahead of her funeral.

Creative agency The Tenth Man and mural specialists Mack Signs collaborated on the project to honour the singer, who passed away on July 26th. The tribute is a 30ft spelling of her first name, beneath the WWII “ÉIRE’ navigational landmark, not far from where Sinéad O’Connor once called home on the Strand Road in Bray.

Another said: “This is a beautiful, quiet and poignant tribute- it’s a very sad week. I hope she’s finally at peace.”

The singer songwriter is being laid to rest today (Tuesday 8th August) in Bray.
