Earlier this week, Bank Of Ireland customers were experiencing difficulties with their accounts, due to a glitch in the bank’s system, meaning that money which was supposed to have gone through already, hadn’t.
This affected users around the country, with the bank’s Twitter customer care account assuring users that the money would be in by that evening.
However, more news has come to light this morning showing that customers are now unable to access both their mobile apps and internet banking accounts.
The bank’s Twitter account has acknowledged this, stating that they are ”investigating this & working to resolve asap”.

While it hasn’t exactly been specified as to when the issue will be resolved, the bank is assuring users to keep an eye on their Twitter page for up-to-date information.
More as we have it.
