The Famous ‘Amphibious’ Mini From The Galway Floods Is Now For Sale On Donedeal

James Fenton

As Storm Eleanor battered the country last night, one video doing the rounds on social media captured the attention of the nation.

It featured a Mini Cooper driving along the seafront as high seas threatened to wash it away. The clip was posted by @GalwayLatinQtr and if you haven’t seen it, you can check it out below.

Now, some prankster has advertised said vehicle on Donedeal at a price of just €750.

While there were no reports of any injuries in the incident, two people have been hospitalised after a tree fell on their car in Co. Cavan.
