And what’s more fun, or more nostalgic, than a camper-van? To celebrate the Heineken Champions Cup final returning to Dublin this summer, Heineken is pulling out all the stops to ensure the celebrations can be felt all over the country.
Ahead of the big sporting event, they’ve created the Heineken Fanwagon – a fully decked-out camper-van that will travel around the country inviting people to play fun games, enjoy some complimentary pints and (most importantly!) compete to win some amazing prizes, one of which includes the Fanwagon itself, at least for one lucky participant.

This weekend, the Heineken Fanwagon will be stopping off in Limerick on Saturday 29 April, giving locals the chance to stop by and get involved in the Heineken Champions Cup final hype. Running between 5-8pm at The Locke Bar, the event will be hosted by none other than rugby presenter and pundit Christina Mahon.
How to win
As with every location, guests can expect some free pints of Heineken (reason enough to stop by) as well as fun rugby-inspired games that everyone can enjoy – whether you know how to deliver the perfect rugby ball throw or it’s your first time trying it out. Everybody’s welcome to get stuck in, from diehard rugby fans, to those who’ve never watched a game before. The only requirement is you’re up for a bit of craic; enthusiasm makes up for a lot you know (at least that’s what we tell ourselves).
There’ll be loads of smaller giveaways happening at each location but one lucky winner will drive home with the event’s grand prize – the Heineken Fanwagon!
