Be careful not to spit out your latte but Cork and Dublin have both been included in the 2018 Global Hipster Index, as compiled by Movehub

While the two Irish cities didn't rank too highly in the list, there's obviously something about both places that impressed the hipster experts out there.

The researchers looked at 446 cities across 20 countries to find the ultimate global hipster hangouts with Brighton And Hove in England coming out on top followed closely by the American cities of Portland, Salt Lake City and Seattle. The Portuguese capital of Lisbon rounds off the top five.

So what of the Irish cities? Well, Corkonians will be delighted to learn that they finished ahead of their rivals in the capital with the People's Republic finishing at number 159 ahead of Dublin in 184th place.

This calls for a celebration, folks. Who's getting the craft beers in?
