A mother-of-two told myBody+Soul that she managed to lose 40kg using the diet over a period of six months.
“I woke up one morning and knew if I didn’t start looking forward to being healthier, it would never happen,” she said and stated that it was the day she decided to try this diet.
She followed a strict low-carb diet, high-fat and moderate protein diet, while also adopting the 16:8 fasting diet (fasting for 16 hours and eating within the remaining eight).
It also mimics the Keto diet but instead of only getting rid of carbs, the Dubrow Diet is also known for “intermittent fasting on a low-carb diet.”
Along with this, she keeps active by following daily workout videos and walks and runs when she gets time.
It just goes to show that you don’t have to be stuck to the gym in order to see a difference.

Her daily diet normally looks something like this:
Breakfast: Bulletproof coffee
Optional morning snack: cucumbers and cheese
Lunch: Small salad with full-fat ranch dressing
Dinner: Protein with veggies
