Ireland’s Most Magical Christmas County Has Been Revealed

Ireland is a magical place no matter where you are at Christmas time but according to a new survey, some spots rank higher in terms of festive spirit than others.

Unsurprisingly, the poll conducted by Jurys Inn places the major cities of the country on top. As they say in GAA circles, “sure The Dubs have all the resources.” The capital did indeed finish higher than the rest nabbing 47% of the vote. Dublin was followed by Galway on 19%, with Cork in third place on 10%.

There were a few notable omissions of course and we would have expected to see Kerry near the top if Killarney is anything to go by. To be fair though, Dublin does have some of the most Christmassy pubs in the country.

Let’s just hope someone can stop the Dublin Christmas juggernaut in 2019.
