Ireland’s Very Own ‘Sinking Pub’ Is Now On The Market for €350,000

AmyBell

A really old charming pub is now on the market if anyone ever fancied owning their own boozer.

Roche’s in Donadea, Co. Kildare have been open to the public since the 1800s and over the years has been famously known as ‘The Leaning Pub of Donadea’ due to its slanted floors.

The pub is slightly immersed in the Derryvarogue bog and is still structurally sound.

It will be up for auction at the Glenryoal Hotel in Maynooth on November 15 at 3pm, with a guide price of €350,000.

The property is very cute and is popular with the locals.

Have a look at the quirky interior for yourself.

The property site said that Roche’s pub also has the potential for further expansion into the food business.

It currently has a lounge, middle bar, front bar, toilets, a cold room, ancillary storage and a rustic smoking patio area and beer garden.

So really, you get quite a lot for your money – and it’s Ireland’s only ‘sinking pub’.
