Groom Admits To Losing 101Kg Before Wedding Because Of This Diet

Since I’ve stopped playing football, I’ve noticed that I’ve started to get a little belly. I try and watch what I eat and go to the gym but then a few nights out and a couple of bad food choices in the month will cancel all of that hard work out.

If you are looking to complete goals, then you need to stick to some sort of plan, something which I am useless at.

And this bride and groom have put me to shame.

Using a special diet, she managed to lose a massive 51 Kg ahead of her big day because she didn’t want to walk down the aisle in a size 24 wedding dress.

News.com.au says that she switched to a strict Ketogenic diet — which focuses on high fat and high protein foods while cutting carbs.

She dropped seven dress sizes but her husband managed to cut almost double the amount of weight.

On the same diet, he dropped a whopping 101kg, going from 250kg to 149kg.

The Keto diet is often described as a fad diet but when done right, people seem to get some serious results from it.

Heavyweight boxer, Tyson Fury dropped 4kg in just one month while on the dietbut as his coach explained, it needs to be done properly:

“Tyson is on a ketogenic diet. People say that’s a fad diet, but Tyson is doing low intensity training at the moment. A ketogenic diet consists of high fats, minimal carbohydrates and some protein.

“He’s on 3,500 [calories] per day. For example, if you have 1,000 calories but you expend 1,000 calories in the gym, you’re on nil. When you try to cut weight [without enough calories] then you hit the wall, and you fatigue. This is where lots of fighters come unstuck. Tyson needs to be on 3,500 calories a day but, when he’s expending 2,000 calories in the gym, he will need to be on 5,500 calories a day. You can then start cutting weight – this is the healthy way to do it.

Of course, unless your a sporting athlete like Tyson Fury, you won’t be using or taking in as many calories as the boxer.
